Today is the day,
That's exactly what I told myself as my racing heart started to race and woke me up. Did I miss my flight? Am I really leaving? Is this real?
The best way to describe the feeling is relating it to something completely different, scuba diving. That rush you get when you are sitting in your scuba suit on the edge of the boat rocking back and forth. Again with you mind juggling the same thoughts. Is this real? Am I really going to do this? Then you close your eyes and with one big push...BAMMM You hit the water and simultaneously reality hits. This is real.
I am really in London. I am really studying abroad. I am really diversifying my education and experience. I am really going to have the time of my life and live to tell the tale.
